Description

SIGNED COPY. In the late 80s, McCartney was persuaded to release an LP for exclusive distribution in the former Soviet Union, under the legendary Melodija label. The result "CNOBA B CCCP" (Back in the USSR) was notable for its overtly communist cover and the rather unusual tracks selection: Side A: Kansas City, Twenty Flight Rock, Lawdy Miss Clawdy (!), Bring it on Home to Me, Lucille, Don't Get Around Much Anymore, I'm Gonna be a Wheel Some Day; Side B: That's Alright (Mama), Summertime, Ain't that a Shame, Crackin' Up, Just Because, Midnight Special. The album went on to become a valuable currency among sailors in the Soviet Black Sea Fleet and was dubbed 'The Golden Album'. This signed copy - printed in the original Cyrillic script (about half the run was printed in English) - is in excellent condition - absolutely no scratches! A must for an Beatles / McCartney enthusiast.
