This is just one of 9 original beatles albums i will be listing,all of which are very nice.On offer here is a very nice original 1963 mono press of "with the beatles".what makes this so rare is it has a ZKT tax code stamp and very first issue "1" mothers meaning this was from the first batch produced!!
Cover
The original Garrod & lofthouse patents pending flipback cover is in Very good condition,it is the earlier misspress issue with "you really GOTTA hold on me" credit.Here is a description of all parts of this cover
FRONT: The laminated front has some creases..little wear and rounded corner tips
BACK: has some ageing and some tiny tears on the flipbacks
SEAMS: These are nice with just a tiny split on the openings
SPINE:This is also nice with no splits and the text is clearly readable
Inner sleeve
The original emitex inner is Excellent with no splits
Labels
The black/yellow parlophone labels which have "parlophone co..","recording first published 1963" text are in Excellent condition..mega rare ZKT tax stamped on side 2..light spindles on each side
Record
The record is unwarped and in Excellent- condition..strongly graded!! with a few light marks and a couple of non feelable scratches
Just played it and it plays with no problems..the sound is magnificent,with crystal clear music and no sound distortion..the tracks play without any loud crackles and no pops,it off course does not stick or jump and is even fairly quiet between tracks!!,,excellent audio!!
