This is a UK 1st press MONO copy of "the beatles (a.k.a white album)" by the beatles on the apple label with "sold in uk" text (PMC 7067/8),it is complete issue with 2 records,4 pictures,poster,2 unsplit black die cut inners and low numbered top opening cover
This is a very low number top opening cover 0023310 and is a FACTORY MISPRESS,the first issues of this album did not have the "an e.m.i recording" text on the labels,the copy i have for sale here DOES NOT HAVE THIS but SIDE 2 DOES...very strange and supprisingly it got out of the factory

The records are very clean with full gloss and shine..they lie flat with no warp and in normal light look fastastic..possibly ex++..under very strong light you can see a few marks..but no fingernail scratches
It plays really well..there is some light crackle in the quieter parts/tracks..but the louder tracks such as "revolution" and "helter skelter" sound fantastic,there is no sound distortion.It does not stick or jump and there are no clicks or pops
The apple labels have no tears or stickers and are fantastic
The black inners have NO SPLITS!!!,one has a tiny tear on the hole and on the opening,the other a slightly bigger tear on the hole
The original fully laminated (front/back)garrod & lofthouse low numbered (0023310) gatefold cover is very clean,more of a creamy colour...there is no laminate damage and no tears,stickers or writing.There are just a few small creases in places and minor aeging.The seams and spine have no splits although as normal with this album the spine has some wear
The pictures are really nice
The poster has no tears or pin holes.it is the first issue Garrod & lofthouse with the kiss,on the kiss in small red letters is " i love you" and is stamped "937A Foto jackel"
