Dead wax info is as follows:
Side 1 : XEX 421-1N(2-GM)
Side 2 : XEX 422-1N(1-M)
The letters at the "3 `o` clock" position are very hard to see,sorry if above is incorrect.The numbers 2/1 at "9 `o` clock"are correct
This is the rare 2nd press with "northern songs" label credits
The Ernest j day laminated cover is Very good-,there is wear on the seams and what looks to be a partially repaired seam split on the bottom opening.This is the orig gold mono cover..you cannot see the angus mcbean credit just the "p" which is after the letter "s".The back has some aeging and flipback tears.The spine text is clear and readable
The original emitex inner has no major damage
The gold labels which have the "northern songs" text and are not tax coded are nice with just some light marks..but no "touching up" around the spindle hole
The record which lies flat with no warp is very clean with full gloss and shine,visually grades Excellent-/Excellent..has just 2 main scratches on "chains" and "boys" on side 1 and 1 hairline mark on side 2 that goes through the last 3 tracks.apart from these its nice with no other major marks.i feel some would grade a straight excellent.It plays really well with just a little crackle on the run on and some light clicks on side 1 where the 2 scratches are..the clicks are light and can only be heard close up.The rest plays great with no sound distortion and no loud crackles and it does not stick or jump
