This is an original 1966 press parlophone lp with "THE GRAMOPHONE.." and "SOLD IN UK" label text and is "KT" stamped in superb condition BUT is the super rare "DOCTOR ROBERT" credit on the side 2 record label in STUNNING condition,its the BEST COPY I HAVE SEEN!!
The original laminated ERNEST J DAY flipback cover is awesome,the ernest j day cover is much more rarer than the garrod & lofthouse and this is a cracker!!.The front which has "MONO" in the top right corner shines with no laminate cracking and the colours are bright and vivid,the four corners are RAZOR SHARP!!,there are just a few small edge creases which i pretty normal but these are very hard to see.The back again is very clean with just a tiny bit of wear near the opening.The flipbacks are very white with just a couple of light creases/marks.The seams and spine are undamaged,FANTASTIC with no wear or splits!!.STUNNING COPY!!
The record which is made out of thick quality wax is in great condition,it looks MINT!! with full gloss and no groove wear,deep scratches etc,under a strong light you can see a few very light marks/rubs probably caused by taking the record out of the sleeve
The labels are very clean with just a couple of light "spider" marks near the hole
I have played the lp and it sounds fantastic!!,definetly not overplayed at all those wild parties,there is no lessening in sound quality at all.Most of the tracks play fantastic with no annoying crackles etc,there are just a couple of very light insignificant clicks but these do not stop you enjoying this fantastic lp
