This is the MEGA RARE first issue wich has the MIS-ALIGNED apple logo on the back cover and also on the side 2 label there is no mention of the "secret track" called "Her majesty".Very rare in any condition but this is a very impressive copy
Cover
The original Garrod & lofthouse laminated cover is in Near mint condition..strongly graded as it has no tears,stickers,or writing.Here is a description of all parts of this cover
Front:Very clean indeed,very shiny with no laminate damage,the corners are nice and sharp and there is no fethering on the opening.In regard to creases there are some small ones around the edge and a few small half moon ones near the opening
Back: same as front..clean with no laminate damage or bad ring wear
Seams: These are great with no wear
Spine:This is fantastic with no splits and all the text is clear and readable
Original inner sleeve
The "made in england patent no 1,125,555" white inner is Mint
Labels
The apple labels are superb and in Excellent++ condition,No damage just a few light spindle marks
Record
The record which is made out of VERY THICK quality wax is unwarped and in Excellent++ conditionif not better!!.In daylight it looks near mint but under a strong light..which i always grade records you can see a few faint marks,but there are no fingernail scratches.A LOVELY COPY!!
The audio playback is just superb!! with no loud crackles,pops and it does not stick or jump.There is no distortion and the tracks are crystal clear.Side 1 plays almost mint and is even very quiet between tracks.Side 2 starts with the track "Here comes the sun" and on there is some static and a couple of clicks on it,the rest of the tracks play really well with light bits of static in places
