Here is an UNDOCUMENTED CBS PRESSING of the BEATLES huge hit HEY JUDE.
The PHILIPS 3 prong press is well known and RECORD COLLECTOR lists other versions by DECCA and PYE. (I've never seen the DECCA one...)
BUT THIS IS AN UNKNOWN VARIATION! See the photos for the TEXTURED CBS type label & the SERRATED EDGE being different from other pressings too. These custom presses are far rarer, perhaps only 500-1000 copies made to cope with the huge demand. (There are also ORIOLE thick presses of earlier 1964 BEATLES 45s that are unlisted too)
The vinyl is MINT and the label is unmarked with very little sign of use.
Being a dealer with 1000s of records I notice many non BEATLE records were pressed by other companies, you see DECCA, CBS, PYE, ORIOLE, PHILIPS, DOCTOR BIRD(!), ISLAND (as 60s REGGAE style), & probably other indie companies too, but it's only the BEATLE ones that are being sought after.
