Info: Highly collectable original UK stereo pressing of this legendary double LP, complete with all four photos and poster!
This is a rare 1st press with matrix number endings -1 / -1 / -1 / -1
The stampers are 1 TA / 1 G / 1 RG / 1 GP
Comes in original fully laminated top opening G & L gatefold sleeve and still has the original black paper inner sleeves which are die-cut on one side only.
Records have dark green Apple labels with "Sold in U.K..." text.
The front of the sleeve is numbered, this one being No. 0529706
Vinyl on record one in very good+ condition with mild surface wear and a couple of small light surface scuffs, and actually plays very well with just occasional quiet background crackles which can only really be heard in the quiet sections. No clicks or pops. Labels have a couple of minor finger marks and an average amount of spindle marks. No writing or stickers. Record two in very good condition and is pretty much the same as record one but with ever so slightly louder crackles for some reason, although they are by no means overpowering and this is still a well acceptable and listenable record. May benefit from a professional clean as this record (record two) had slightly more dust on it before i cleaned them up.
Sleeve in very good condition with average general wear and no outstanding faults. Some scuffing on corners, light ringwear, mild discolouring, and a bit of feathering along the top edges. Main spine has some surface scuffing in the middle where the laminate has also split, nut no actual split. Other two spines look fine with no splits. One very small number '13' written on front in top left corner in blue pen, but otherwise no writing or stickers. Inside looks fine with just average wear and some slight discolouring visible at the very edges.
Inner sleeves in fair good condition with partial splits to the edges and look pretty worn at the corners and edges.
Photos in excellent condition with light handling wear in parts. The Paul and John photos have some horizontal surface scuff marks in parts, but otherwise look nice.
Poster in very good+ condition and looks absolutely fine with just mild handling wear and some edge/corner/seam scuffing. Has never been hung up on a wall!
So all in all this is an acceptable copy of a classic 1st issue Beatles LP, which is not perfect but isn't too bad either!
