Description
TITLE/INFO: OK, I'll be listing more old and rare 45's these next few weeks, as well as more early '50's-'60's EP's and LP's, so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. I'm currently selling off my Beatles 45/PS collection and I'm now into their earliest releases with Capitol, Swan, VeeJay, United Artists, MGM, and "Beatles Specials" (like this one), so please check in this next week or so if early Beatles 45s/PSs are of interest to you. This was the very first of several such "special" Christmas greeting flexi-discs the Beatles would send to their Record Club members over the '60's decade. The rare flexi-disc, soundcard, newsletter combination was a specially released package available only to Beatles Record Club members and comes as a tri-fold (three still attached and fully intact sections) flexi-disc - with the "special" Christmas/New Year's message from the Beatles on the record section. It would make a very nice addition to any Beatles collection, and BTW, is appropriately entitled, "1964 Season's Greetings From The Beatles". In addition to the cardboard-like record the rest of the tri-fold contains interesting notes in a newsletter like format (please view all 12 pictures above). In my opinion, this collectible package is in super good, close to perfect condition, but please read on and check out all the pictures above to make your own decisions. LABEL INFO: There does not appear to be any label name at all, but it was made in the USA and I have included a picture of it's patent info in the pics above. VINYL INFO: The cardboard like record appears to be extremely clean and nice, and again, I can see nothing really flawed with it - although I have never actually tried to play it. In my opinion, it looks as close to perfect as this type of record can be. PICTURE SLEEVE: Finally, this still attached tri-fold, flexi-disc cover also seems to be about as good as new. I can see no serious flaws worthy of any mention, although the name of the original receiver is still listed on an easily removable front side sticker. So, please view the pictures above to help make your own decisions about everything! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this unusual Beatles' piece is in nice shape and I honestly can't imagine anyone being disappointed with it's condition. As always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (1st Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first 45 purchased, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $18.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $2.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
