Description

Beatles--Yesterday And Today--Capitol 2553, mono.  Original 1966 second state butcher cover from Capitol's Scranton, PA plant.  Bottom seam and spine are completely split.  Top seam has wear.  At some point, someone attempted to start peeling the cover by hand, bottom left corner, but did not get down to the actual butcher slick (photo #2).  Cover has some stains (see scans please).  Ringo's V-neck shirt can be seen beneath the trunk slick in photo #3.  Vinyl is VG/VG-.  Disc has scuffs from record-stacking, but no deep scratches and plays well.  Labels are clean.  This is one of the easier covers to steam because water-based glue was used to adhere the trunk slick to the butcher cover, rather than the stronger glue used at the Los Angeles and Jacksonville, FL plants.  High bid will pay shipping, as well as insurance and tracking.  Overseas winner will pay an additional $11 to register this item for delivery.  Please wait for invoice.  Any questions, please e-mail.
