From  1964, come The Beatles with their first LP Introducing The Beatles on VeeJay LP1062 oval logo. Rare oval logo original column back! This is the first column back issue of this record that contains the songs Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You plus ten others. The songs Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You were quickly replaced with Please Please me and Ask Me Why. Very unusual thick pressing with unusual label feel (in person). AudioMatrix deadwax stamp on both sides.Black label with the colorband edging. The cover is also in excellent condition, which is unusual for this title! It has, on the side spine in the lower left corner,LP1062 visible. This is usually the first area to wear off on this record! These first column back presses are extremely hard to find and contain the original two songs that later got replaced! Also contains the original Vee Jay inner sleeve which showcases 25 other "albums of significant interest" on one side in full color and the other side shows 25 great Gospel records. This sleeve was only used with the first column back and after that, it was changed to a red sleeve with black and white pictures. This is only the FIFTH one of this issue I've had in 32 years!

Light high spot rub lower middle of front cover near bottom seam,tiny lower left corner bang; the number 2 is partially obscured (of the LP1062). Tiny paper loss upper left corner and lower left corner due to the way the covers were manufactured.Light banging along seam opening.Original price written in ink upper left rear cover ($2.89), record store inventory number upper right of rear cover,name on rear cover upper left.

Cover is VG++ and record is VG++!!
