Description
TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection - Beatles and more - will eventually come up for sale - good records from the '50's, '60's, and much more - all are "oldies" and most all in great shape! Here is one of those rare and highly collectible LP`s by "The Fab Four" themselves, The Beatles - their very 1st release for the Vee-Jay Label. It is on this original Vee-Jay Label from back in 1964 and all writing on the label is above the hole, as was once a telltale sign for original VJ first pressings. Of course, Vee-Jay Records was one of the very first labels that tried to jump on the Beatles' success as they hit the "big time" here in the US back in 1964. And, it is yet another album in outstanding, close to perfect condition - the vinyl anyway, but the jacket isn't all that bad either. This LP - the 1st of just a few albums Vee-Jay released - is entitled "Introducing The Beatles" and features twelve (12) early songs by the Beatles. All of the titles are visible in the pictures above - and all songs are in original MONO, not to mention they are also in outstanding shape (again, please see the pictures above for all song titles and more). LABEL INFO: This original, Vee-Jay Label (1062) is in great shape with no real issues at all - I don't even see many spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also extremely shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in any real need of a mention - maybe if held under a super bright light, there are just a few super light surface/paper lines, but nothing too noticeable at all. Otherwise though, in my opinion the vinyl looks almost as good as the day it was 1st purchased, and again, was likely played very sparingly. JACKET INFO: Finally, although the jacket is primarily quite good, it does have a couple of flaws along the seam areas that need mentioning. There are a couple of main scuff marks - one along the top seam and one along the bottom seam (and I've picture them above). They might be relatively small in size, but they are pretty obvious nonetheless. Also, the top seam also appears to have a crease line along part of it, but I don't see this issue as being too serious. Finally, in addition to the two more prominent scuffs, there are a couple much smaller and lighter scuffs along the very bottom seam and a very slight bit of light ring wear along the front side's very bottom edge, but nowhere else. INTERESTING FACTS: Although the jacket isn't perfect by any means, it really isn't all that bad either. Still, this would seem to be an ideal piece for a collector who already has a great jacket, but needs a better record - as the vinyl here is close to perfect. But regardless, please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection - and I never use any "reserve prices". As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I take a great deal of pride in packaging all my mailings both safely and securely. However, I cannot be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. But, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
