You are bidding on an ORIGINAL LP by THE BEATLES,  titled "Please Please Me" made in the UK in 1963. Label: Parlophone BLACK & GOLD.  Catalog Number :PCM 1202                       Mono.

Matrix numbers (MACHINE-STAMPED in run-out grooves) :side 1:     XEX 421-1N       Side 2: XEX 422-1N

One of the MOST COLLECTABLE albums of the Beatles on UK PARLOPHONE Black & Gold label. The original songs are credited to "McCartney-Lennon" , Dick James Music Co. The sleeve is also the original, with mention ANGUS McBEAN at right bottom corner. Back cover mentions Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. as the printer of the sleeve.

It is a MONO pressing; we believe it is the FIRST PRESSING.

Comes with original inner sleeve.

Sleeve:Fair: creasing, ringwear, creased /rough corners. Back sleeve has a name and address that is almost faded. 7 tracks have been pinpointed (very small dot) with felt pen on back cover. one little piece of top flipback is missing at top left and top right.Also some wear at bottom flipback. We try to be torough in this description. The sleeve is VISUALLY ENJOYABLE.

Record:visually F,many scuffs and  scratches. The LP has been tested on 3 turntables. On 2 of them it skipped in one spot of "I Saw Her Standing..", but when played with SME arm, it didn´t skip.However, despite some surface noise, this record PLAYS REALLY GREAT, with excellent bass and dynamics.

Labels: side 1 has kept its relative gloss, the golden letters are a bit faded but very clearly readable. Little traces of removed sticker

              side 2 has kept its relative gloss, the golden letters are more faded, especially the song titles, which are difficult to read.
