THE BEATLES-SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND(1967)/CAPITOL(US)/MAS-2653 MONO EX+(+)/EX++(NM-)
The heavy double fold cover has light to medium (moreso on the back) surface/corner/edge wear...as well as a 4.5" and 1+" seam split at the top/bottom of the slot,respectively. There is medium/heavy wear on the top/bottom edges and a name/date written on the front.
The inside is in beautiful condition with only some very (very) light ring/surface wear (not detectable at 1st glance) in a couple spots (top/bottom).
Also included is the original psychedelic inner sleeve in varying shades of red...it is in very good+ condition, with a bottom split, some light yellowing and the name of the album written on the bottom (see pic). This item alone can sell for up to $25!
NO "cut-outs" insert, it is missing.
The vinyl has all over surface scuffs/marks. Amazingly, these prove to be mostly superficial and result in only the lightest of occasional background static/ticks (NO hard ticks) that can be detected on playing the album.
I have played this record many times and it is still a way better than excellent listening experience, with any extraneous sound being extremely light when heard at all. In fact, if it weren't for the visual condition of the record and it was to be graded on sound alone, it is a very strong NM-, bordering on NM...I found it to play in the 8.9/9+ to the bottom end of 9.5 of 10 range.
I am using a SYSTEMDEK IIX (GRADO GOLD) and a DUAL 505-2 (ORTOFON OM10), both at 1.5G.
NO "NEMS.." ON THE COVER.
Has "A Little Help From My Friends" title on cover and label.

The 60's psychedelic sound, as defined by the Beatles on this classic album, in glorious one dimensional MONO, still shines through, loud and clear.
It is well documented how the Beatles and George Martin worked countless hours, tweaking and completing the mix of this original version of what was to be a ground breaking record.
The album was originally intended to be released ONLY in it's unique MONO mix, but the corporate executives knew better than the artists, and so with considerably less time spent on the stereo remix, the stereo version became what the world has come to know.
