ARTIST: THE BEATLES

TITLE:  SGT.PEPPER 'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND

YEAR: 1967

CAT NO: PMC 7027

LABEL & COLOUR: PARLOPHONE 'YELLOW & BLACK'

COUNTRY: UK

MATRIX Nos: 1st PRESSING (-1 & -1)

All of my records That I'm selling are from my own personel collection that I have collected and cherished for over 40 years and which have been generally kept and looked after to the highest standard.

Vinyl Condition: EX-Nr Mint Visually the vinyl is in excellent plus or better condition - This 1st Press Vinyl at least has not been played to destruction like most - Has been carefully played only a minimal amount of times over the early years and probably hasn't been played for over 40 years and shows nothing but only light use over the 43 years of its age - With NO needle mark scratches or any other bad marks that I can visually see or detect on close inspection Side 1 has 2 light surface scuffs and 2 very small light hairlines that don't noticably affect the Audio Playback Side 2  is Unmarked when examined on even closer examination under a strong halogen bulb it reveals nothing more than a few light hairlines and some usual insignificant disc inner sleeve removal feint wispy light lines here and there that absolutely dosen't effect the virtually near perfect audio playback (this doesn't in anyway detract from the overall exceptional condition on both sides) - The vinyl still retains all it's original jet black shiny gloss mirror like sheen and lustre - It would be still very hard to find a better vinyl copy of this 1st Mono Pressing Record it's still a Superb Example!!!

Please Note: This record has been stored away and not touched or cleaned for most of it's 43 years it would obviously benefit from a professional clean  before play as to reduce further any light static crackle that is still present

AUDIO PLAYBACK ASSESSMENT:  - SUPERB UNINTERRUPTED CRYSTAL CLEAR CLARITY AND POWER ON AUDIO PLAYBACK END TO END - Audio is Graded as Near Mint  - This vinyl visually looks like its not been played that much and appears to have very few light and minor blemishes across the vinyl surfaces and shows NO heavy marks or scratches still looks a great example - There are No Clicks, pops, skips, jumps or repeats and shows No other annoying  audio noise distortions during playback If I'm going to be Ultra Critical whilst listening through the playback you may get occasionally when the very quiet tracks begin to play or on the start of run ins and inbetween tracks and the very quieter elements of audio playback or if at all  you may get some very light static crackle for a second or two and then it just fades away and the occasional very very light clicks on side 1 but absolutely nothing of any consequence on this 43 year old Classic  that will spoil your overall enjoyment of this exceptional Iconic Classic Album - Overall  its just a Fantastic listening Experience that comes from this near Perfect Dynanmic Mono Audio performance!!!

Labels Condition: EX+  The labels being the Original Parlophone Yellow & Black labels that are still in a very clean and virtually unmarked condition being a strong excellent or more with very little wear around the spindle hole Under a bright Halogen light it shows some feint spider trail traces near the spindle hole on both sides but is certainly evident that when it was ever played it was  well cared for and looked after and certainly hasn't been overplayed in its 43 year life span

Cover Condition: EX+ to NM  An Original Dedicated MONO Laminated Gatefold cover sleeve made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd - This superb Cover is just exceptional and an amazing example of a well preserved cover showing hardly any Handling wear over 43 years in all its original Bold and Vibrant colours like its near on 'Pristine' & 'Perfect' - That's totally intact with razor sharp straight edges and excellent pointed corners - The cover looks to be virtually Unmarked - Flat crisp and incredibly clean and showing all it's original bold near pristine vivid colours across the front and back and the inside on opening the gatefold sleeve it creaks when opening as it's never really been opened that much it looks virtually untouched and looks like 'NEW'  With NO noticable Laminate creases,Laminate lifting or Bubbles,No Edge wear and  No Colour lifting or blemishes etc - I'm really struggling to find any fault with this Superb and Stunning cover thats worthwhile to mention - If im going to be Ultra Critical and I look very closely and hard there is some mild and very light mild storage scuff wear on the end tip of spine and very slight and mild rub wear along the opening edge and that's it! and I do mean light! is not that noticable (this doesn't in anyway detract from the overall exceptional and near perfect condition of cover) - I'm Confident to state it's one of the very best iv'e ever seen that's not falling apart and it would be very hard to improve or better this cover!!!

Spine Condition: EX+ The Laminated Pinched Spine is incredibily clean intact and virtually near perfect and only showing some light and mild laminate wear on the very ends of the pinched spine - With all written text still showing to be bold clear legible and perfectly worded as if it had just been printed at the factory!!!

Inner Sleeve: EX+ The original Red & white record company sleeve with 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' text is immaculate and looks Suberb in an original very clean intact condition and shows no evidence of any real handling wear over it's lifetime - Absolutely NO Tears,Splits,Ink Writting,Stickers or other Blemishes apart from some yellow usual aging tinges mainly around the edges

Cut-out insert: MINT The Original Dark Green Thick card with a crisp clean look that is Untouched and Unmarked Like New!!!

The overall Brilliant Pristine condition of this Album is mainly due to the superb dry storage conditions and thick plastic cover protection on this LP Record over it's Lifetime!!!

Thanks for Looking and Happy Bidding!!!
