TITLE/ARTIST: This 14 album, Japanese printed/imported, STEREO box set reissue of the original Beatles' albums is entitled "The Beatles Collection", from 1979. The entire set - which includes 13 jackets and 14 albums (the White Album has two discs), plus all the inner booklets and posters that come with the LPs are in super nice, close to perfect condition (please see all 12 pictures above and read on). The original outer box does have mentionable flaws - several scuff marks in the corner areas and along some of the seams, and two tears/rips in the "flap" part of the very top opener - although everything there is still attached (please read on). This highly collectible piece is a "Limited Edition", specially numbered, Japanese imported set - this one is numbered 08743 - and long ago was out of print and very difficult to find. The 13 interior jackets, all 14 vinyl records, the booklets/posters and Japanese lyric sheets (all of which are at least four page, gatefold sheets) are all in outstanding, near perfect condition - only the exterior box has flaws (as mentioned previously and again below here). Of special note here: The 13th album ("The Beatles Rarities") is the only record not on the Apple Label - but instead is on the black with silver print,  EMI-Odean Label, even though it is still imported from Japan, still in stereo and in great condition, includes the Japanese lyric sheet, and even has the correct ID number (EAS-50044).  This is how it came to me many years ago and does confuse me a bit, but it is what it is and hopefully doesn't diminish the overall value of this LP collection - I just know it had to be mentioned and I've pictured it above. BTW, the registered number on "The Beatles--White Album" is A 362795 and all the LPs are listed at the end of this item description. LABEL INFO: The Apple labels - I've shown one above - are all near perfect with no spindle lines at all - suggesting that this set was opened, but perhaps never played. The EMI-Odean LP has been played (as I can see spindle lines on this label), but is otherwise also nearly perfect. VINYL: Likewise, all 14 vinyl records (Apple and EMI labels) look virtually unplayed and appear to be close to perfect as well - perhaps The Apple Label records here were never played, although I cannot say that for certain. But, they do appear to be close to perfect and practically like new!! POSTER/BOOKLETS INFO: The folded up posters from "The White Album" and the booklets/cardboard inserts that come with other albums here also look excellent when opened up and I see no tears, rips, or additional crease lines (other than where it was folded to fit the packaging of course). OUTER BOX: As I mentioned earlier, this is the one part of entire the package that does have mentionable flaws. Like I've already mentioned, there are several scuff marks and signs of wear primarily in the corner and seam areas. In addition, there are two seam splits in the "flap" that opens up at the box's very top - however, this "flap" is still fully attached to the box, in place where it belongs, and functioning the way it has to.
