TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection - Beatles and more - will eventually come up for sale - good records from the '50's, '60's, and much more - all are "oldies" and most all in great shape! Here is one of those super rare and highly collectible LP`s by "The Fab Four" themselves, The Beatles - their only release for the very obscure, Savage Label. It is on this Savage Label from back in 1964 - with a very yellow colored jacket and their orange label. Of course, Savage Records was one of the very first labels that tried to jump on the Beatles' success as they hit the "big time" here in the US back in 1964. And, it is yet another album in outstanding, close to perfect condition - the vinyl anyway, but the jacket isn't all that bad either. This LP is entitled "The Savage Young Beatles" and features just eight (8) very early songs by the Beatles. All of the titles are visible in the pictures above - and all songs are in original MONO, not to mention they are also in outstanding shape (again, please see the pictures above for all song titles and more). LABEL INFO: This original, Savage Label (BM 69) is in great shape with no real issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play, if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also extremely shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in any need of a mention - in my opinion the vinyl looks almost as good as the day it was 1st purchased, and again, was likely played very sparingly, if at all. JACKET INFO: Finally, although the jacket is primarily very good, it does have a couple of flaws along the seam areas that need mentioning. There are a two approx. 6" seam splits - one along the top seam and one along the bottom seam (and I've picture them both above), as well as a couple very small scuff marks in the corners. These issues seem to me to be relatively minor in the whole scheme of things, but they are there nonetheless. Otherwise though, the actual front and back sides look really good and basically unmarred by anything else. I'm guessing the two seam splits could be corrected and repaired by a pair of patient hands and the right adhesive, but that's up to the buyer. INTERESTING FACTS: Although the jacket isn't perfect, it really isn't all that bad either, and the vinyl is nearly perfect. But regardless, please have at it and continue to check this site for more Beatles - and more - "oldies" from my personal collection - and I never use any "reserve prices". As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that.
