Description

Offered here is a hard-to-find vinyl 45 record of My Bonnie/The Saints on the Polydor label, # 1024 673. Those 2 songs were recorded in Germany by Polydor in 1961. Tony Sheridan was the lead singer and he was backed up by the Beat Brothers (aka The Beatles).  It was originally released in Germany in a "Rock" version and a "Twist" version in 1961 and 1962 respectively.  This is the "Rock" version which was unique to Germany, as it featured a slow introduction to the song "My Bonnie" sung entirely in German. It was released in a black and white picture sleeve featuring a photo of Tony Sheridan. In 1986, Polydor re-released in Germany this 1961 "Rock" version.  I am not a record collector or dealer so I would be reluctant to grade the vinyl. However, based upon a visual inspection, it appears to be in excellent condition with only one light scuff visible. The label is clean and there is no evidence of ring wear. I can't guarantee how it will play since I don't have a turntable to test it. The picture sleeve is in excellent condition, with no evidence of wear and no tears or creases   Please see photos for a more detailed description.
