THE BEATLES - SERGEANT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND
My large collection of 60/70/80 vinyl albums are being sold due to removal and downsizing. Most haven't been played for 30/40 years and have been stored in secure and damp/dust free conditions. This LP is in EXCELLENT condition. Bought brand new and played in the 60s and 70s then recorded onto tape and stored. Eventually replaced by CD. Due to the careful storage, the album sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. Check out the photos. When dispatched, absolute care will be taken to ensure it stays perfect!
1967 ORIGINAL VINYL ALBUM - MONO - PARLOPHONE PMC 7027 - FIRST PRESSING
Matrix number XEX 637-1 and 638-1. Stamper marked : - 4 PL & 2 GDD

1) 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' and 'Sold in UK' label text. Mono recording.
2) Garrard and Lofthouse laminated sleeve, with visible flaps inside Gatefold sleeve.
3) Red and white inner sleeve, plus cut-out insert.
This rare 1st pressing is in excellent condition, despite its 51 years. There are several faint spindle marks on the label, and some light scuffing of the spindle hole. It is possible to see some hairline stylus marks, under a good light, but no major defects. The disc is flat and plays with some crackles, but without jumps (0.5gm weight). It was test played 28/Aug/2018.
The red/white inner sleeve is in very good condition, but starting to split open, along the bottom edge.
The Gatefold Album sleeve is in excellent condition, with some light scuffing along the open edges and corners. The spine has suffered due to prolonged use, but is completely intact. See images 10/11
The 'cut-out' insert is completely intact, except for pin holes in the corners, from being pinned to a wall and a half inch tear, under the large B, centre bottom. See image 5.
This is a genuine FIRST PRESSING IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. Check the 'Rare Record Price Guide 2018' image.
The mint condition valuation is £150 and the EXC condition valuation is £120. I am asking a price below the RRPG valuation, in the hope that I get a good quick sale.
