PURCHASED ON NOVEMBER 22ND 1968 BY ME.

STEREO, 1st ISSUE
TOP OPENING WITH ALL PIECES IN EX/CON
CAT No PCS 7068
I bought this record new on 22/11/1970 at 09.00 at Readings records in the station approach at Clapham Junction.
MANTRIX No’s
Side1- YEX 709-1. A side on M, with a upright D at 3o/c.
Side2- YEX 710-1. LM at 2.30 o/c.
Side 3- YEX 711-1 G P P at 3o/c at a slant
Side 4-YEX 712-1 RO at 3o/c.
ON APPLE,with DARK LABELS
With SOLD IN U.K & MfD. In U.K. on all 4 labels. All Harrison & Starkey compositions wrongly credited on record labels & lyric sheet/poster to APPLE RECORDS as publishers, (later issues credit their own publishers).
On 2 of the 4 photos there Is a slight flaw in the print, Ringo’s & John’s, it’s a small dash in about the same place on both, you can see them in the scan, I was told they were meant to return copy’s with these flaws in the photos to the distributors, but I had my copy on the first day of issue and I was not giving it up.
Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve with small stereo printed on top rear right corner. THE BEATLES is embossed not printed and is No 0325807.
2 flipbacks to the inside upright edges. The top openings have some light wear/creasing along the openings, some slight rubbing to the 4 corners & some very small amount of ballooning, the first issue is NOT glued in the center spine, the 4 photos and 2 sided poster are perfect there are no pinholes, tears, writing or stains on the sleeve or inserts.
The record labels have no writing or other marks and are excellent just a few spindle marks.
I have just played this LP on my I’pro Deck & it was a really excellent sound, the playing surface has a high shine, there may be a few light marks but I could not hear them.
Please be aware this may not be the case on more expensive equipment.

This record will be securely & well packed in layers of heavy-duty card and wrapped in heavy weight paper to avoid damage.
I HAVE A HUGE RECORD COLLECTION I AM NOW BURNING TO CD, SO I AM NOW SLOWLY SELLING THEM ON AS MY GRAND KIDS HAVE NO INTEREST- IPODS?? PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE OTHERS ON NOW, MANY MORE TO COME.

SADLY UNLIKE THE DEALERS, PRIVATE SELLERS HAVE NO ACCESS TO THE DISCOUNTED COURIERS AND PACKING MATERIALS, WE ALSO HAVE TO PAY A 10% COMMISSION TO EBay ON OUR POST AND PACKING CHARGE. IT TAKES ME ½ AN HOUR TO PACK A RECORD TO MY HIGH STANDARD, I ALWAYS POST WITHIN 24 HOURS USING 1ST CLASS, I BELIEVE MY P/P COST ARE FAIR.
