Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. "The Hoople" was Mott The Hoople's eagerly awaited 1974 album...they were, at the time, one of the biggest bands in America, scoring sell out tour shows and having had ultimate success with their previous LP "Mott" ... Thus, "The Hoople" achieved their highest chart rating in the US hitting #28.This was the first album to feature Luther Grosvenor (Spooky Tooth) on guitar, replacing Mick Ralphs who left to form Bad Company.Mott was so good that this sequel, appropriately named The Hoople, has been unfairly dismissed as not living up to the group's promise. That's unfair as it's hardly without merit with some of the best tracks the group ever delivered. "Roll Away the Stone," is first-rate; "Crash Street Kidds" rocks viciously; "The Golden Age of Rock & Roll" is a pleasant spin on Bowie-esque nostalgia (think "Drive-In Saturday"); and Overend Pete Watts follows through on that theme with "Born Late '58," a perfectly credible rocker. Then without question the trippy and even manic psychedelic edged rocker "Marionette" delivers an infectious impact sound complete with mad raving vocals & sound effects... This all makes The Hoople an entertaining listen by far... Through disagreements over the direction of the band, they promptly spit into fragments after this album ...
