PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! BEAUTIFUL MINTY CLEAN in factory shrink wrapper for USA import market ...rare find like this!!!

Really hard to vind vintage old British vinyl pressing of the 1970 recorded album by then Fleetwood Mac guitarist/vocalist Jeremy Spencer, backed by Fleetwood Mac including Peter Green.

  • Jeremy Spencer - vocals, Slide Guitar, Piano
  • Mick Fleetwood - drums, Congas, percussion
  • John McVie - Bass guitar
  • Danny Kirwan - Guitar, Backing vocals
  • and:
  • Peter Green 4
  • Jeremy Spencer was one of the original members of Fleetwood Mac. On their early albums he mostly performed Elmore James covers, or variations of that theme, and when Peter Green and Danny Kirwin led the band into more experimental territories, he found himself left behind. In concert, the band's set would be divided between intense jams with Green and Kirwin and raucous 50s rock and roll with Spencer (this can be heard on the Live In Boston albums).
When he contributed nothing to the band's magnum opus Then Play On (apart from piano on one song), they had planned to release an EP of his own songs to go with it, but it never happened. Instead he released this solo album the next year, backed by the band he was still part of (though apparently Peter Green only played on one song).
It was a collection of blues and rock and roll parodies - Spencer was always good at mimicry. However this certain element of humour (best shown on "Mean Blues", where he effectively parodies his own band) didn't detract from the quality of the music. The songs were great and the performances top notch. He obviously had a lot of love for these styles, and truth be told they were more homages than parodies, albeit all done with his tounge firmly planted in his cheek. Along with his take on the British blues boom, he also tried his hand at Buddy Holly, Bo Diddley, Elvis Presley impersonations among others. The music is surprisingly good, resulting in a fantastic (and great fun) album. As noted above, his styles within this album are littered across the first few Fleetwood Mac albums ....Highly reccomended!

Jeremy Spencer mysteriously vanished before a Fleetwood Mac gig in 1971, and was found days later to have joined the religious group the Children Of God, and declared he did not want to be part of the band anymore.

    • "Linda"
    • "The Shape I'm In"
    • "Mean Blues"
    • "String-a-long"
    • "Here Comes Charlie (With His Dancing Shoes On)"

    • "You Made A Hit"
