THE BEAVER PATROL-45-”E.S.P.” b/w “Just Like A Lady”-Columbia Records #4-44139-DJ Issue-KILLER 1967 Ft. Lauderdale, FLORIDA Garage-Punk produced by The Strangeloves’ Richard Gottehrer. Most of you are most likely familiar with this KILLERKOOL record from either the BOULDERS Vol. 4 comp, or PEBBLES Vol. 11 comp...If not, A side is a CRUSHING Fuzz-punker based on the Pretty Things’ killer “L.S.D.”, lyrics changed and the hook changed to E.S.P instead of L.S.D. Great track with a great fuzz lead guitar break. Cool gutteral Jaggeresque lead vocal. B side is more lightweight, based loosly on the Kinks’ “Well Respected Man”. Condition: Record is somewhere between VG and VG+; some light surface scuffs visible in certain light angles. A small surface scratch on A side. Also a slow warp-plays fine tracking at one gram on a Thorens turntable.
