Description
BECK - a Western Harvest Field By Moonlight
A Western Harvest Field by Moonlight is an EP of early Beck recordings released on 10" vinyl by Fingerpaint Records in 1994, consisting mostly of audio experiments that he had made prior to Mellow Gold, but there are also a few acoustic blues songs, the most well-known of which, "Totally Confused," has been revisited by Beck on several occasions in concert. Coming after "The Banjo Story" and "Golden Feelings", A Western Harvest Field by Moonlight is Beck's third and final unofficial indie release, all of which are extremely hard to locate.
This record comes with a GENUINE painting done by Beck and friends - only the first pressing of this came with the rare painting!!
This auction is for a MINT, UNPLAYED copy of this record PLUS the super rare original finger paint artwork. This is one of the hardest to find Beck collectible items around. Here is a chance to get an UNPLAYED MINT copy.
This copy comes in the poly-bag sleeve that it was purchased in with the original yellow sticker. The record was not packaged in a sealed bag - the original poly-bag that Beck packaged it in has one open side. This record has NEVER been played. The sleeve, fingerpaint, and vinyl are perfect.
NOTES: "Styrofoam Chicken (Quality Time)" is a neverending loop. It was put extra deep into the vinyl so when the needle gets to the end it jumps it back to the beginning of the track, which is actually about a second long. The needle has to be physically removed from the record for the song to end.
All pressings have the album title misprinted on the spine as A Western Harvest Moon By Moonlight
