Description
Up for auction is a copy of The Battle of the Blue & The Grey b/w The Three Kisses of Love by The Bee Gees, released in 1963 on Leedon, ct no LK 346. This single is the first ever release from the Brothers Gibb, issued in minuscule quantities in Australia (only), and a very rare record.
Condition: clearly a well-used 45.There are numerous scratches & scuffs on the record surface, but nothing is too deep, and it plays through with some background noise, but no jumps or sticks, and sounds surprisingly lively. Labels have a little wear, and a “B” written on the b-side, but have no serious damage, tears etc. I can’t grade this higher than “good”, but here’s a chance to get a playable copy of a very rare record at a low starting price.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence! Any questions? Need any more photos or an audio sample? I'm only an email away.
Payment: UK- bank transfer (preferred) or Paypal. Email for other accepted methods of payment. Shipping: £2.50 (UK 1st class), £3.50 (UK recorded), £5 (Europe) £6.50 (rest of world-airmail). Check my other auctions; combine orders & save on shipping costs!
