Description
I am selling my copy of the Bee Gees LP titled Cucumber Castle. It was released on the Atco Record label in April of 1970. This is the album that was recorded by just Barry and Maurice Gibb as Robin had (as it turned out) had temporarily left the band for about a year or so. After it's release it did not sell well and was soon in the cutout bins and then out-of-print. So now it is considered somewhat rare. I bough this from the cutout bin in 1971 (there is is very small circle cut in the upper left hand corner). I played it a couple of times and stored it away till now. It has been kept in a non-smoking air conditioned environment since. I am the sole owner. I grade my copy as near mint. The cover looks great with just a few scuffs along the edges and corners. No disc wear, no markings, no separations, it retains plenty of gloss. The original inner sleeve looks close to perfect with just a small tough of yellowing due to age. No separations, no marking and no creases. The sleeve is an advertisement of other released on Atco and Atlantic Records from that time. The vinyl looks great and plays great with just a small trace of minute blemishes. The cover opens out into a gatefold with the spine still quite tight. An outstanding looking 49 year old record which is considered somewhat rare.
