WITH THE RARE TRI-FOLD EMBOSSED SLEEVE -IT'S A STUNNER!

THE VINYLS   MINT-    INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

Finding a copy in this condition is very very hard to do, especially the sleeve as so many are damaged, very few were archived away..A record that sold in the millions, this is a rare one to see in this condition-  absolutely pristine condition! and stored away since 1979!

This first pressing set is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP set of this age.

BOTH VINYLS HAVE THE AMMENDMENTS TO THE MATRIX NUMBERS..AS THEY WERE PRESSED FOR 'MULTI STACKING' WITH SIDE 1/4 &  2/3

A couple of light spider lines around the centre holes, and no wear to the spindle holes whatsoever. We feel this set has had a few plays maximum then archived!

THERE IS SURPLUS WAX AROUND THE SPINDLE HOLES

jUST SOME VERY light whisp across the vinyls!! NO marks or scratches-  it is absolutely stunning..and RARE to see these UK presses in this condition.

THE WHOLE LP SET PLAYS INCREDIBLE..Barely the lightest crackle in the dead grooves, and thats about it..some incidental and occasional static pops but these may very well not sound next play.and as we say a professional hoover clean could remedy this set even higher..

Correct EMBOSSED LOGO & HIGH GLOSS FINISH  first UK issued WIDE DOUBLE SPINE  GATEFOLD SLEEVE earliest sleeve by HOWARDS

So hard to find this sleeve without rub and wear, we have unearthed an absolute stunning sleeve. Most copies we see are the standard gatefold later edition..these deluxe pressings are really very rare to see in any condition.

The edges are all super clean with HARDLY A HINT of traces of rub, at all , and the creamy ivory colours and inks remain in outstanding condition with just some very light discolour on the edges and spine - Only a couple of tiny spots of corner rub on the tips. a coupe of tiny corner dinks top and bottom of the main spine.

No ringwear, or white rubbing anywhere.

The inks on the front & back sleeve are pristine and have no rub at all -The embossing is immaculate and looks really stunning..the sticker is still in place too.

The open edges are  razor sharp - A couple of tiny little spider lines on the edges.

Now, these tri fold sleeves just like 'Yellow Brick Road' for instance, always seem to suffer big crease lines on the inside gatefold when you open out the two sides..as when folded back they tended to do this..BUT..This sleeve has escaped all such things and all the three faces are absolutely superb..glossy and crease free.

The spine is unsquashed and like new..ALL TITLES PERFECTLY READABLE.

THIS IS A REALLY SUPERB SET..AND THE SLEEVE IS JUST ONE OF THE NICEST DESIGNS THERE HAS BEEN.
