Description
An original copy of the ultra-rare 1977 white label promo 12” EP sent out to promote that year’s top-selling Saturday Night Fever soundtrack album (RSO PRO 033). This EP contains extended “Special Disco Versions” of four Bee Gees hits and one the Gibb brothers penned for labelmate Yvonne Elliman and has much higher fidelity than the LP, due to the wider grooves! The tracks on Side One are “Stayin’ Alive” ( 6:55) and “Night Fever” (4:50) with Side Two containing “More Than A Woman” (4:43), Yvonne’s “If I Can’t Have You” (4:00), and “You Should Be Dancing” (4:47). Rare, precious, and beautiful, indeed!
The jacket for this promo-only EP is in excellent condition with some ring wear and a bit of minor creasing along its back cover’s seams. The WLP EP within is excellent as well.
