Description
Groovy early booking sampler for '60s teen bands out of Florida area, the early LPs like this one from the Bee-Jay people are the good ones, later ones got dodgy. This has bands like Ron & Starfires, Beloved, Rovin' Flames, Wrong Numbers, Barons, Plant Life, Warlocs etc. doing songs like "Solitary Man" (great version), "I'll Be Back Again" (Beatles song), "Keep Me Hangin' On" (Vanilla Fudge style), "Light My Fire" (Doors) etc. and some originals like "Color Of Love", "Love Song #6", "In My Tree"...lotta go go organ, folkrock jangle...this LP originally had a title cover which is missing here, this is a plain cover with the song titles typed on stickers stuck on front. Disc is VG++ except for scratch on S2 at end of track 2 into track 3. On the Tener private label # TC 1014, a rare & cool Florida item from the garage era. Low min. bid since title cover is missing...find it nowadays at all!!
