Description

Performed in 1944 in 3 recitals at the Library of Congress which recorded them for their archives. With cooperation of Szigeti and Arrau the set was mastered from Library originals by Vanguard in the 50s and first released on VRS-1109. Later released on this Everyman set.  Date not known, probably early 60s. This set sealed and unplayed, Box has minor bottom right corner ding.  Fine performances in acceptable mono sound.
