Rare German first press (ED1) 8LP box set released in the early 1960s on gold Columbia Stereo labels, catalog number 29212-8.
This extraordinary edition was pressed in Germany using original UK Columbia SAX metal stampers — each disc carries the UK SAX matrix numbers lightly crossed out but still fully legible.
A genuine hybrid pressing connecting the UK and German Columbia mastering heritage, featuring the following SAX equivalents: SAX 2260, 2276, 2277, 2318, 2331, 2354, 2364, 2373, and 2415.
Beautiful heavy clothbound box with color photo front, complete with booklet, original inner sleeves, and vinyl in Near Mint / Mint condition – glossy, immaculate, and looks unplayed. The cleanest and most complete example seen in years.
