BEETHOVEN PIANO CONCERTO NO.3
Issue : UK 1st PRESS Label : DECCA Catalogue No : SXL 2190
Matrix : ZAL 4701-2E / ZAL 4702-3E
This UK 1st press is on the black Decca label. It is complete with the ZAL 4701-2E / ZAL 4702-3E matrix, the earliest wide band grooved Decca label, the original polylined Decca inner sleeve and laminated flipback sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has a sensational gloss, every track looks suberb. There are a couple of the very faint hairlines and some light marks from the polythene inner but these are insignificant, it is in superb condition. The label is exceptionally bright and completely clean. The black is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is no spindle wear.
The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is some very light noise but this is largely static, there is superb clarity and separation throughout.
The laminated sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The cover image is marvellous, very clear and sharp. The laminate has a stunning mirrored gloss and the colours are warm and bright. The back is exceptionally clean. This sleeve is in superb shape, very solid with sharp edges and a wonderful flat laminate.779 (GS 7.0.4 (779))
