Beethoven Piano Concerto Nos. 1 & 2 Wilhelm Backhaus, Piano with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra Conducted by Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt.This is the sought after Original Wide Band Grooved Edition 1 version which sounds fantastic!!!

The album is on Decca Records, SXL 2178. Matrix side one: ZAL-4595-1E (stamped). Matrix side two: ZAL-4596-1E (stamped).

Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has a couple of light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays with no jumps, skips or clicks and hardly, if any, crackle to be heard).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has a few very light superficial marks which can only be seen under bright light and do not affect the audio in any way, plays with no jumps, skips or clicks and hardly, if any, crackle to be heard).
Cover (front laminated, flip-back): very good (light corner and edge wear, a few light laminate creases mainly around the edges, aging/discolouring mainly on back).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
