Description

Absolutely gorgeous copy of the rare original 1960 blueback pressing of Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony conducted by Ernest Ansermet, on London stereo CS-6160. Wide band label, pressed in England. The disc is just gorgeous and plays just about flawlessly and truly beautifully. There are a couple of very minor superficial marks but barely. They do not affect the play in the least. The cover has only light corner wear and signs of gentle use. Really a beautiful copy inside and out, and one of the truly great audiophile recordings of this piece, and of the whole early stereo era. Magnificent to hear! Hard to beat this copy.
