BEETHOVEN Paul Tortelier Eric Heidsieck The complete cello sonatas EMI 2LPs Box set + Booklet SLS 836!
Original UK 2LP box set, released in 1972, on the EMI Record label. The box set comprises of 12-inch hinged textured picture box with the original 4 page insert and 2LPs both with the original paper/poly lined record company inners sleeves. Catalogue number: SLS 836.
Box: EXCELLENT CONDITION
Clean box, with a solid firm feel, displays minor wear only. Has one small top spine corner edge tear but piece not missing and still attached, rest of the box is fine. Displays no seem/edge splits and no creases, overall very well preserved and in EXCELLENT condition.
Insert: NEAR MINT CONDITION
The 4 page insert is in NEAR MINT condition, clean and complete with no damage.
Records: NEAR MINT CONDITION
Both inner sleeves are in EXCELLENT condition, clean with no damage, slight/light handling wear evident and a touch of browning on the glued joints with age. All the record labels are in NEAR MINT/MINT condition, clean with no wear or damage and only a few light faint minimal spindle hole marks showing on the first LP label. Playing surfaces and Matrix areas are in NEAR MINT condition, retaining the original full original glossy sheen on both sides, displays a few tiny (almost negligible) ultra-light fine line surface scuffs which only appear/show up when angled and viewed closely under a strong bright light.
