Classic early UK Columbia pressing of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in C Minor Op. 67 performed by the legendary Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Otto Klemperer.
This highly regarded mono recording captures the dramatic power and precision of Beethoven’s most famous symphony. A desirable vintage classical LP featuring the iconic blue Columbia Long Playing Microgroove labels and beautiful period sleeve artwork.

Vinyl retains a strong glossy sheen with light surface handling marks visible under bright light. Clean labels and well preserved for its age.

Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 is one of the most recognised compositions in classical music history. Opening with the instantly identifiable four-note motif, the symphony represents triumph over adversity and remains one of the defining achievements of Western classical music.
Otto Klemperer was one of the twentieth century’s most respected conductors, celebrated for his disciplined interpretations and monumental approach to German symphonic repertoire. The Philharmonia Orchestra, founded in London in 1945, quickly established itself as one of Europe’s leading orchestras. Their collaborations with Klemperer produced some of the most acclaimed classical recordings of the mono and early stereo eras.
