Description

Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No. 2 D-dur, op. 36; Symphony No. 9 d-moll, op. 125; Performed by Franz Konwitschny with Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, in the Finale of Ninth also with Leipziger Rundfunkchor and soloists: Ingeborg Wenglor (soprano), Ursula Zollenkopf (mezzo), Hans-Joachim Rotzsch (tenor) and Theo Adam (bass). Recorded 1959, originaly issued 1966.
ETERNA 8 25 417-418. 1st DDR stereo press, sleeve dates year of 1966.

SIDES 1, 2, 3, 4 VISUALLY IS NM / NM / NM / NM-, ONE BARELY NOTICEABLE HAIRPRINT ON SIDE 4 (8 25 418B), OTHERWISE PRISTINE CONDITION WITH NO MARKS OR LINES OF ANY ORIGIN AT ALL. PLAYS WITH TOP SOUND, NO COMPLAINTS EXCEPT TWO VERY MINOR IMPERFECTIONS: 2 OR 3 MUTED POPS ON LAST TRACK OF SIDE 1 (8 25 417A) PROBABLY DUE TO PRESSING AND A COUPLE OF HARDLY FEELABLE STATIC TICS ON SIDE 3 (8 25 418A). OTHERWISE JUST PERFECT. FULLY PLAY-TESTED.

SLEEVE IN VG+: VERY NICE APPEARANCE OVERALL BUT THERE'RE A BIT FRAYED SPINE-CORNERS AND STAIN OF THE RIGHT BOTTOM CORNER OF SLEEVE, SEE PICTURES.



NM (= M-): Near Mint: album has been played with no visible signs of wear or damage.

VG++ (= EX): Still very shiny, album has light signs of wear: a couple of inaudible light scuffs and/or light scratches.
VG+ : Some more wear, light scratches and/or scuffs: album plays with minimal surfacenoise = occasional light crackle, but still very enjoyable. 
VG : Scratches and scuffs. Album plays with some more surfacenoise (light crackle and/or or occasional pops, but no skipped or repeat grooves).
G : Moderate, even wear throughout, still playable but with quite some surfacenoise (I rarely list records with this grade, except when they are very collectable
