Description
Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No. 7 A-dur, op. 92. As performed by Franz Konwitschny with Gewandhausorchester Leipzig. Recorded 1960, originaly issued stereo in 1964.
ETERNA 8 25 105. DDR stereo press, sleeve dates year of 1964.
SIDE 1 IS VISUALLY EX (COUPLE OF SUPERFICIAL HAIRLINES AND SCUFFS, OTHERWISE CLEAN, SEE PICS) AND SIDE 2 IS VG+ (AS WELL FREE OF SCRATCHES ETC., BUT SCURF MARKS FROM PASTIC INNER, SEE PICS). BOTH SIDES ARE DISTORTION-FREE AND PLAYS WITH LOW LEVEL OF BACKGROUND NOISE, GREAT SOUND OF ORCHESTRA. RATED VG+ DUE TO LIGHT OCCASIONAL CLICKS HERE AND THERE SCATTERED ON BOTH SIDES. FULLY PLAY-TESTED.
SLEEVE IS VG: MEDIUM STORAGE WEAR, WOULD BE VG+ BUT HAS REPAIRED FRACTURE ON RIDE SIDE OF FRONT, SEE PICTURES.
VG++ (= EX): Still very shiny, album has light signs of wear: a couple of inaudible light scuffs and/or light scratches.
VG+ : Some more wear, light scratches and/or scuffs: album plays with minimal surfacenoise = occasional light crackle, but still very enjoyable.
VG : Scratches and scuffs. Album plays with some more surfacenoise (light crackle and/or or occasional pops, but no skipped or repeat grooves).
G : Moderate, even wear throughout, still playable but with quite some surfacenoise (I rarely list records with this grade, except when they are very collectable
