As performed live by Wilhelm Furtwaengler, Berliner Philharmoniker, Bruno Kittel Choir and soloists (Elisabeth Hoengen-Tilla Briem-Peter Anders-Rudolf Watzke). Berlin, April 22nd and 24th of 1942.
Melodiya 33?-010581-4. MONO. USSR, mid-1960s repress.

SIDES 1/2/3/4 OF VINYL IS VISUALLY EX/EX-/EX/VG+, SUPERFICIAL SCUFFS AND MARKS, MOSTLY ON BEGINNING OF SIDE 2, ONE MARK LOOKS LIKE BURR HERE ALSO, BUT NOT FEELEABLE BY FINGERTIP AND PLAYS THROUGH. NO SCRATCHES OR HAIRLINES. GREAT PLAYBACK WITH MINIMAL INHERENT BACKGROUND NOISE. STRONG EX GRADE EXCEPT FIRST HALF OF SIDE 2 (ADAGIO MOLTO E CANTABILE): THERE ARE LIGHT TICS HERE AND THERE, FOUR PLACES WITH 8-12 TIMES REPEAT, BUT STILL NOT DISTURBING MUCH. NO ANY DISTORSIONS OR CRACKLE. VERY NICE COPY OVERALL.
