Vinyl: unfortunately I neither do have a 78 rpm turntable nor the expertise to rate 78´s. To me the records do look extremely good for their age, some scratches, but it seems as if it was nothing serious. If you  require further detailed pictures for your own evaluation please let me know.

Booklet: some serious storage marks and wear on the edges, discoloring especially on the front (see photos), but in general in good shape. The inner paper jackets are in proper condition, no splits. 

Overall grading (Vinyl/Cover): It it were a set of vinyls, I would rate it VG+ - EX  / VG

I am aware of the sensitivity of shellacs, so I will do my utmost to pack it as securely as possible to avoid any damage during transport. If you have any further suggestions please let me know.

I am selling a few items from my collection to make room for new stuff hence you will find more albums to come over the next weeks. The choice which album to sell is mere subjective and a matter of personal taste, it has nothing to do with the quality or condition of the record itself.

Please note I use UK Record Collector grading system for all records with the addition of the accepted „Near Mint“ category:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

NEAR MINT:  The record appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. 

The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
