Description

Available today is Ludwig Van Beethoven's greatest symphony The D Minor OP 125 the Ninth. In all probability the greatest single piece of music ever written. This is the MFSL remaster from 1982 MFSL 2-516 with Sir Georg Solti conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in a truly memorable performance originally recorded on the London Label in 1972. Sonically this MOFI remaster is a masterpiece as well as the original was though I never owned it but did listen to it. Along with the Beethoven 9th I will ship a copy of Solti conducting the London Philharmonic of Gustav Holst The Planets, MFSL 1-510 at no charge. Side 1 has a noticeable scratch lasting up to 8 minutes and another scratch on side 2 .You are bidding just the Beethoven which is a beautiful copy. If the high bidder does not want the planets copy let me know in the shipping instructions and I won't send it  I will just donate it.
