Description
Beethoven Violin Sonatas 1-10 - Le Chant du Monde LDX-A-8301/5 - 5 LP's.
David Oistrakh, violin ; Lev Oborin, piano.
Beethoven - 10 sonatas for piano and violin, Boxset of 5 lp's.Pale yellow labels, French pressing, 1962.
The original first limited edition consisted of 2050 copies. 50 numbered in Roman Numerals from I to L
and 2000 numbered from 1 to 2000. This is copy No. 1239.
The 7" single with rehearsals are unfortunately not in the set, but the fine 4 page insert with a
beautiful color print of David Oistrakh is.
Condition:
Red cloth box: some color fading, but no splits and all writing is readable.
All records still has original shine, apart from 8305 ("Kreutzer") that seems to have been played more.
All labels are clean with no spindle marks, but records could benefit from a professional cleaning.
LDX-A-8301: Vinyl: Exc- / Cover: Exc, small split at edge mid bottom.
LDX-A-8302: Vinyl: Exc- / Cover: Exc, small splits at edges mid top and bottom.
LDX-A-8303: Vinyl: Exc-, a few marks side B / Cover: Exc, small splits at edges top and spine.
LDX-A-8304: Vinyl: Exc- / Cover, exc, split at edge mid bottom.
LDX-A-8305: Vinyl: VG--, many marks and lines / Cover: Exc-, splits at edges bottom and spine.

Attention: Due to weight over 2 kg's this box needs to be shipped as a parcel,
which unfortunately is very expensive from Denmark.
Inside EU: $40 for registered parcel with tracking.
Rest of World: $70 for registered parcel with tracking.
