Description

Hi There,

I’m back after a little break from selling , still many LP’s left from my below mentioned collection

I am selling my collection of LP’s over the coming months. This is a very large collection that I have built up over many years. I will be starting slowly but hopefully will gather pace as I get going. There will be many rare and collectable items for sale so keep an eye out for my listings. I will try to be as honest as possible with my grading and descriptions.

Album / Record Title – Act One

Artist – Beggars Opera

Format-    LP Stereo

Record label – Vertigo (swirl)

Catalogue Number –   6360018

GRADING OF THIS ALBUM (based on Record Collector ‘Rare Record Price Guide 2008’) as shown below.

Album Cover -  Excellent  Condition –  A very nice Gatefold sleeve showing only very minimal age. One very small sticker removal mark in the top left corner.

Record / Vinyl -  Excellent Condition ,  The vinyl is in very nice condition and looks and sounds great.

This is the original 1970 pressing of this Vertigo Swirly , these are getting very difficult to find in this condition. This was the band’s 1st LP and shows some great musicianship.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration,
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken.
