Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am now selling another..YES another set of UK swirl VERTIGO albums. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully as some of the albums are NOT very first pressings and some will be VERY FIRST white label promo's. But ALL are GENUINE UK SWIRL PRESSINGS.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --BEGGARS OPERA--PATHFINDER--UK ORIGINAL PRESSING. 1972 stereo 6360 073 The 70h of 88 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....POSTER STYLE, FOLD-OUT and UN-LAMINATED. Flat with no fading, nice original colours. This sleeve has never been attached to a wall with pins tape or blutak. All six panels are Fully attached and are UN-TORN with NO WRITING, NO STICKERS and NO RING-WEAR. There is no spine as such. There is wear to the corners which has not split as you can see from the close-up pictures there is no evidence of the wear on the inside surface of the sleeve/poster. 1 of the close-up pictures shows where someone has used the sleeve to lean on and write on a piece of paper, this is difficult to see in normal light, and does not detract from the overall wonderful condition of this very delicate 36 year old sleeve. All in all this is in good condition for 36years old .EX+.

LABELS..... There is NO unwanted writing, stickers, residue or tears. There are spindle marks on either side. THIS ALBUM HAS OBVIOUSLY ALWAYS HANDLED WITH GREAT CARE.EX+, EX+

VINYL..... Both sides of this album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see surface hair lines and NO SCRATCHES OR SCUFFS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There are dust crackles, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These original pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . EX+/EX+
