Description

Auction is for a RARE ORIGINAL CANADIAN PRESSING of THE BEGINNING OF THE END'S "FUNKY NASSAU" LP from 1971 on Alston/Atco Records. Classic and essential island funk debut that's a solid listen from start to finish. Canadian pressed LP in U.S. Alston sleeve (as they must have shipped them up here) and as Atco distributed Alston in the US they used their labels for the Canadian release. I've had both US and Canadian copies and both sound and play just as good. Cover is still in original shrinkwrap although starting to tear at bottom of back cover at jacket opening and has deletion hole at bottom right corner. Vinyl has a couple barely visible, very light superficial sleeve scuffs that don't affect play, just shy of NM. Beautiful copy!
