Label: ALSTON ~ SD 33-379. Stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl. White label promo with black text.
Year: 1971.

Condition:
DISC: NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found. Appears to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with care. Labels are clean. Fidelity is superb. A gorgeous disc you will never need to upgrade.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG+. Front artwork is clean and bright, with just a few small patches of wear. Seams and spine have some light wear, but are fully intact. Reverse has some tiny scuffs and the bottom right corner and a chip above the Side Two track listing – nothing major. No writing or stickers. Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the beautiful disc.

“Their number 15 pop smash "Funky Nassau Part 1 & 2" is the cream of this hands-on production by the Bahamas natives. The nine cuts fuse island rhythms and American jazz/funk into a doable, choppy mixture featuring guitars, bass, drums, and scratch vocals. Misclassified as a disco band, the Beginning of the End served up breezy Phil Upchurch-esque sounds, with "Come Down" and "Surrey Ride" being prime examples.”
