This is an ORIGINAL UK 1st Press release of BELLE GONZALES' rare and classic first and only solo 12" LP called ' BELLE ' - this released originally as here in 1972 on the original COLOMBIA RECORDS label.
Only sold in very small quantities when first released way back in 1972 and as a result these ORIGINAL FIRST pressings are very hard to find these days.
Visually graded under a 100W light source the vinyl retains EXCELLENT MINUS glossy sheen - with some visible marks, predominantly hairlines and the odd more noticeable mark and blemish.
This is confirmed on playing as there is some surface noise audible, mainly in the quiet parts and the odd click and pop here and there.
Both sides have been PLAY GRADED.
Side 1 is graded - EXCELLENT MINUS
Side 2 is graded - EXCELLENT MINUS
The BLACK & SILVER COLOMBIA record labels are graded EXCELLENT - with little visible spindle wear.
The thin card GARROD & LOFTHOUSE FLIPBACK PICTURE sleeve with ORIGINAL 'FILE UNDER POPULAR FEMALE VOCAL' notation is graded VERY GOOD PLUS - with three sticker marks to the front and one to the back and some slight discoloration. But no splits and spine 100% legible etc.

All records are shipped in new custom made strong CARDBOARD MAILERS ( not card envelopes ) with stiffeners as required.
