A classy BELLE GONZALEZ LP and a rare FIRST pressing copy of her third and final 12'' LP release from 1972. This is by far her rarest LP to find these days and you rarely come across these FIRST PRESS Columbia SILVER BLACK LABEL LP's as when originally released they sold in only small quantities so nowadays very few ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS copies are to be found.
And to find one in this condition is even more unusual !
Visually graded under a 100W light source the vinyl retains EXCELLENT sheen - with a very few visible marks at all even hairlines...looks hardly played.
And the sound and audio quality on playing bears out this remarkable condition - it is graded at EXCELLENT MINUS with very little audible surface noise at all.
Both sides have been PLAY GRADED.
Side 1 is indeed graded - EXCELLENT MINUS.
Side 2 is also graded - EXCELLENT MINUS.
The record does not skip or jump and there is very very little audible surface noise throughout.
The SILVER & BLACK COLUMBIA labels are also graded EXCELLENT with very very little visible spindle wear or any other marks at all.
The thin card GARROD & LOFTHOUSE FLIP BACK FRONT TEXTURED sleeve is graded EXCELLENT MINUS - would be excellent but for sticker removal damage to the front top left...other than that there is very little wear at all - certainly no tears, splits or writing and the spine is 100% etc.
Comes with the ORIGINAL EMI INNER sleeve.
All records are shipped in new custom made strong CARDBOARD MAILERS ( not card envelopes ) with stiffeners as required.
