Description

Up for consideration is an early pressing of Bellini's "Norma". Teatro alla Scala under the direction of Tullio Serafin, with Maria Callas. Italian press on the Columbia label. Vinyl rates a solid NM as does box cover, which exhibits only minor wear. Interesting provenance. Acquired from the estate of Aziz Izzet, a notable Egyptian writer and editor whose circle included several notable writers, musicians and artists in the 1950s-60s.
