Description

Four original Ben E King Albums:- Spanish Harlem - 1961 London Atlantic - it has some hairlines but no deep feelable scratches, just general wear. VG+. Sleeve see photos - VG+ Sings for Soulful Lovers -1962 London Atlantic - again it has general wear which includes hairlines but no scratches. VG+. Sleeve is VG+ Don’t Play That Song - 1962 London Atlantic- some hairlines but this does have 2 small scratches on track 2 & track 6 of side one. Overall still VG. Sleeve VG+ Played side one and the scratch on track 2 does cause clicks, the scratch on track 6 causes fairly quiet clicks. Seven Letters - 1964 Atlantic- just general wear with some hairlines but nothing feelable. VG+. Sleeve VG+.
I haven’t played all 4 albums apart from dipping in and out of various sides and I have to say they do live up to their VG+ grading, all sounded fine to me on my Rega Planar 3 . These 60’s pressings really do hold up well even after 60 years ( why can’t modern pressings sou d this good?!).
